SENIOR (ADULT) TRAINING SESSIONS
JUNIOR (COLTS) TRAINING SESSIONS

CLICK HERE to read our chairman's report at the close of the 2011 season, where Blunham Cricket Club proudly fielded 4 full senior teams (a 1st, 2nd and 3rd XI from Blunham and a Blunham/Roxton team), AND numerous junior teams (girls and boys). If you are in school years 3 - 9 and would like excellent youth training to play in official leagues against other local villages and towns (mainly on Sunday mornings), then do visit our Youth Section BY CLICKING HERE.

2011 saw a revitalised club, with the superb new Blunham Playing fields Association facilities and with another Guinness world record (now confirmed) under our belt ! An application form to join or to renew your membership of Blunham Cricket Club for 2012 can be downloaded by CLICKING HERE

On Saturdays, the first and second teams played in the Huntingdonshire County league, whilst the third team and the Blunham/Roxton team played in the more local (if somewhat now depleted) Millman league. On Sundays, we had three teams in the Bedfordshire County league, in Divisions One and Three, with a further side in the development division of this league which was aimed primarily at those under the age of 18. On most weekend days, one of the sides were usually playing at our home ground in Barford Road, Blunham, or at the second ground in Roxton. Our home ground and facilities are carefully maintained by the Blunham Playing Fields Association, so next season, please come along and support the teams at our newly re-furbished facilities. For anyone living in Blunham, the ground is only a gentle stroll away, and you'd be made most welcome.

The senior sides also played in the mid week leagues and cup competitions, so were often seen playing on summer weekday evenings. By clicking on the buttons on the left you can learn more about the club, it's history and the various activities and match reports, as the season progresses.

On Friday 26th August 2011, we held a special match against the internationally famous Lashings World XI side. Despite the weather (!), photos of the cricketing star-studded day can be seen by

The 2011 season was again full of thrills and spills (not to mention a new world record) and we hope that 2012 will be just as exciting as last season, so why not come along next season (especially when there's a home match) and lend your support (or any other surgical equipment you may have going spare...) ?

By clicking on the buttons on the left, you can also read humourous (but more or less factual !) match reports, plus archived reports of the matches in 2003 - 2010. You can also link directly across to our official ECB Play-Cricket Website, or leave a message in our guestbook. Photos from the club's long history can also be linked to.
